Here are some of the modular plants designed and built by the STC-SMC team.
Nitrogen Removal Units (NRU)
8 MMSCFD NRU
STC-SMC completely redesigned and rebuilt this Nitrogen Removal Unit near Price, UT. Our services included disassembling the existing plant, relocating it to Bartlesville, complete checkup and testing, upgrading all instruments and control system, installation in Utah, startup and commissioning of the plant which produced better than anticipated results in the quality of natural gas processed.
5 MMSCFD NRU
The photo shows multiple modules of the NRU plant under construction at our manufacturing subsidiary, SMC. This plant was shipped in 28 tuck loads to the operations site near Bowling Green, Kentucky. STC-SMC team coordinated the on site installation, provided commissioing, startup and operator training of this turn-key grass roots plant.
1 MMSCFD NRU
STC-SMC team completed a this Nitrogen Removal Unit near Enid, Oklahoma. Our work included startup and commissioning of the plant which produces pipeline quality natural gas.
Compact Oil Dewatering Unit
This compact dewatering unit was designed and built by the STC-SMC team. The entire plant was designed to put inside ocean going shipping containers for installation at our customer's facility. We have completed multiple plants located in Chile, Argentina and Mexico.
Gas-to-Liquids Pilot Plant
GTL Pilot Plant modules designed by STC and manufactured by SMC. The photo on right shows a 16 ft x 16 ft x 55 ft module built and shipped on it's side as a single unit, and being erected at customer's site in less than 24 hours from shipment.
Gas Cleanup R&D Plant
STC's engineering and design services combined with SMC's manufacturing services, enabled the completion of this research & develpment project for cleaning up chemical contaminent in a gas stream. The project involved use of exotic alloys, special monitoring instruments and a PLC system to closely monitor trace amounts of contaminents. The unit is currently used as a university study for future fuels.
